You can go for a bachelor's degree as an automotive engineer and try to use your experience to become an automobile designer.
You can attend an automotive design school with an undergraduate program.
You can get your bachelor's degree in graphic design, furniture design, architectural design, or interior design and then go for a master's in automobile design.
Regardless of which path you choose, look for a school that offers computer-aided drafting (CAD) courses and has connections to the automotive design departments of 1 or more automakers.

Though they can suggest structural changes to walls, windows and additions, they can't do the architectural plans. -They normally work with fabrics, furnishings flooring paint, wall coverings, art and object d'arts. So while interior designers don't perform a critical role in safety or integrity, they often work hand in hand with the clients architect to ensure a smooth and even flow of information. Both have a critical place in industrial and home design.

If you are already pursuing your engineering then you can go for a separate graphic design course and if you've not joined any institute yet then I would like to inform you that there are specialized CS programs being run by some universities like UPES which incorporate Graphics and Gaming design in their CSE curriculum so you do not have to do such courses separately. Like UPES Dehradun offers 'B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Graphics and Gaming in association with IBM ' so you can pursue such programs if you have interest in this field.
