M.Pharma. in Pharmaceutics at GNIPST is a 2 years course at the PG level. The course offers admission to 15 students. The total tuition fee for GNIPST M.Pharma. in Pharmaceutics is INR 3.19 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 14,100, and a hostel fee of amount INR 1.49 Lacs that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee.

As the institution is approved by AICTE, therefore the students of GNIPST Kolkata can avail various scholarships like Merit - based scholarship, Oasis scholarship, Kanyashree, Aikyashree and Swami Vivekananda scholarship.
Must meet eligibility requirements for a particular scholaeship:
1) Must meet eligibility requirements Completion of 10+2 with 75% marks from a recognised board.
2) Family income should be less than INR 2.5 Lacs PA.

The institute has consecutively ranked in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for last six years. In NIRF 2022 GNIPST achieved all India Rank 84 among Pharmacy colleges.
It offers one of the best infrastructure and crowd in West Bengal for Pharmaceutical studies and has a good faculty too .
The highest package offered here is INR 6.5 LPA, and the minimum is INR 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies include GSK, Cipla, Abbott, etc. About 90% of students get jobs from internships, and the rest get them from outside.
If you are thinking to get an admission here for Pharmaceutical studies, it is one of the best institutes in the city.

At the PG level, GNIPST Kolkata offers M.Sc programme in a total of 3 disciplines i.e. Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology with 30 seats each and a total of 90 seats in M.Sc programme. Admission in the M.Sc programme is made through Common Entrance Test (CET).
Candidates must have done graduation in the relevant field of study from a recognised University.

GNIPST offers B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology with 120 seats, B.Sc in Biotechnology with 40 seats, B.Sc in Microbiology with 40 seats and B.Sc in Genetics with 30 seats and each has a total tuition fees of 2.50 lacs .
It has total 230 seats for B.Sc .

GNIPST (Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical and Science technology) is one of the best institute that offers pharmacy in West Bengal. It is one of the best private institutes in West Bengal.
It had a rank of #84 out of 125 in India in 2022, #2nd in Kolkata, #2 in West Bengal whereas it dropped to #87 out of 125 in India in 2023, #3rd in Kolkata, #3 in West Bengal.

Yes, you can get direct admission in some courses at GNIPST, while some courses requires entrance test like WBJEE, JEE mains, WBCHSE.
Only BBA requires class 12th result of CBSE at GNIPST.
While courses like D.pharma, and M.Pharma is on the basis of B.Pharma degree. B Pharma require WBJEE, JEE mains.
B.Sc requires class 12th from CBSE and an entrance exam of WBCHSC.
Most courses at GNIPST are based on entrance exam.
