It is Shikhar. I have studied there and I am in IIT-Bombay pursuing B.Tech in CSE. It is small place with limited students. Kurmi Sir is one of the best teachers that I have met in my life. He can even guide you personally anytime anywhere. More than 85 students were selected in Advance 2017 out of less than 150 students.
There is no doubt that it is best coaching for IIT in Gwalior and nearby places.

You can also go for B.Com LLB, it's a new course started in various universities. It is also a good option and has a wide scope in future.

See and judge a college on following parameters:
1) ROI
2) Future orientation
3) Placements
Please talk to the students of the concerned college. Find 10 students from the stream in which you want to take admission. Rank doesn't matter.

Hi,
IHM, Chennai is better than IHM, Gwalior as it offers better exposure and better placement opportunities.
The admission in both the Institutes are based on National Counsel of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) Joint Entrance exam.
There are other Institutes in the country such as IHM-Mumbai, IHM-Pusa, IHM-Bengaluru, IHM-Auranagabad (Taj) etc. which are better than both IHM-Lucknow and IHM-Shilong, and if you get good rank in NCHMCT Entrance exam you can get one of them as well.
Check the below link for NCHMCT Exam syllabus and eligibility
