Among both, DCE is the best because DCE is a government college.
PIET is also good in terms of placements for B.Tech but DCE is the best.

I would say about the mess food at BML Munjal University, Gurugram is good. As there is a diversity of students in the campus coming from different states which limits the chefs to be precised to the taste and spices. There are different sections for food North and South Indian, and special dishes (including non veg) are also provided in the mess for which you have to pay extra at that time of the meal there itself. The food available for all is vegetarian.

Some tips for the first year students is that they should accept the fact that they have entered the new world outside their school life which is far different from this. Open up to everyone and show interests in every field making you eligible for every event in the college, side by side making a good CGPA and planning for the next year side by side .

Being a Computer Science student, I would prefer doing an computer engineering course from the college. If you want a second option to that, then you can pursue MBA from the college as both of the courses contain various departments in them and the highest packages goes to these courses in the college according to the recent placement records.

In this college, there is no such thing called as failing the internal exams, the cutoff required to pass a subject is 40 out of 100, which includes the internals and the end semester exam. If then too a student has less then 40 marks from the total of 100, the student has to give the recourse exam and if he/she fails the recourse exam, he/she has to repeat that subject again in the upcoming semester.
