IIIT Sonepat offers a full-time BTech programme for four years. The programme is offered in CSE and Information Technology. IIIT Sonepat also provides PhD course and the duration of the course is for two years.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIT) Sonepat is a public-private institute that was established in 2014 as a joint venture of the Government of Haryana, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, and the Government of India, with industries present in the model, known as the public-private partnership model. The eligibility criteria for the BTech course is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
