Hi At the PG level, SKG, Hooghly offers MBA program under four specializations. Students with a Bachelors degree in relevant discipline and an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply for admission. Admission will be granted based on valid MAT, CMAT, CAT and MAKAUT JEMAT score, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The minimum cutoff percentile for MAT/ CMAT/ CAT/ MAKAUT JEMAT 2019 will be decided by the institute. Students appearing in the final year examination of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply for MBA subject to qualification in the examination.

The HCU MBA 2020 Admission will be given to the students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
The candidates must hold a Bachelors degree in any discipline recognised by UGC/AIU/ACITE. He/she must obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the final exam. The candidates who are yet to appear for their final examinations are also eligible to apply. The candidates who are appearing for the HCU MBA Admission 2020, must appear for the CAT exam.

Of course you are eligible. Whether it's good or not, depends upon where you do it from and what is your field of interest. Doing an MBA will take you away from clinical field and into more of management. With the mushrooming of corporate hospitals, there is a huge scope for doctors who can be managers. M. B.A. In hospital management is bound to the only hospital sector. But as per the current scenario, the hospital sector is growing. Also, more advantage is you are belonging form nursing background. You know whats the problem and the solutions regarding the hospital management system. An MBA in HR is not bound to the specific sector.

If you are planning to do MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management/Administration, then you need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NEST ) accepted by various colleges and you should also have a minimum of 50% to 60% in your Bachelors (any stream) for admission in the same. Admission in MBA is done through an entrance exam followed by interview and GD.

Eligibility: The aspirants of Master's Degree in Hospital Management should possess a Bachelor's Degree (in 10+2+3 form) in any discipline (Except Fine Arts and Oriental Languages) from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
