In the case of filling the 50% Management seats, both Himachal as well as Non-Himachal candidates are selected through the entrance test. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen. No domicile Certificate will be required for filling up Direct Seats under Management Quota in Private Nursing Colleges in State of Himachal Pradesh.

For Direct Quota Seats: Direct quota seats will be available for open
competition from amongst:-
a) The Bonafide Himachal/Domicile candidates/Children/spouse of H. P. government. Employees and employees of Autonomous Bodies wholly or partially
financed by the Himachal Pradesh Government, who have done their B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing schools/Institutions anywhere in India duly recognised by the Indian Nursing Council/H. P. State Nurses
Registration Council. B) For filling up Direct Seat under Management Quota in Private Nursing Colleges in State of Himachal Pradesh, there will be no domicile requirement. Under this quota, both Himachal and Non-Himachal interested candidates can compete in the entrance test subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as prescribed in the prospectus.

The National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh ) is a public technical university and is one of the thirty-one NITs established, administered and funded by MHRD. Admission is made at the undergraduate level using the JEE Main score and at the postgraduate level using central exams such as the GATE score. Referring to your query, since it is a public university, management quota is not applicable. As management quota facilitates direct admission, it is only applicable to private or deemed universities because they don't receive any grants from the government. However, as with any other NIT, you may be admitted based on home state quotas based on the home state specific cutoff for the year you apply. Again, your JEE score will be considered for the same. After receiving any updates from the admission committee regarding approval of application form, candidate needs to pay the admission fee
online from their user account.
