Candidates who have passed MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT or BSc Nursing/ BASLP/ BSc MLT/ BSc OTT/ BSc CVT/ BOptom/ BSc RIT or equivalent degree from any recognised university with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for MSc programme at MMU Solan. Aspirants should have relevant documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The university offers lateral entry in BSc Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Medical Technology, Operation Theatre Techniques and Optometry. The university provides 10% over and the above the sanctioned intake to BSc (LE). Those who have completed Class 12 with at least 50% aggreate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for BSc (Lateral Entry) programmes.

Candidates while filling out the application form for MMU Solan need to upload some documents. In case of offline submission, aspirants are required to attach the below documents with the form:

  • A recent passport-size photograph (one pasted at the application form and other two additional copies appended with the application form)
  • Copies of Class 10, 12 and graduation marksheet
  • Caste certificate
  • Migration certificate
  • Certificate of Himachali bonafide resident for claiming seat under reserved categories for Himachali's
  • Copy of aadhar card

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants seeking admission in BSc Nursing, GNM and PhD courses have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by MMU Solan. For MD/ MS and MBBS programmes, the seats are offered to candidates based on their NEET-PG and NEET-UG scores, respectively. For all other courses, aspirants do not require passing any entrance test. Admission is granted based on their merit in the last qualifying exam.

The aggregate requirement for most of the UG programmes is 50%. There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates for some of the courses. Candidates also need to appear for entrance test for admission to a few UG programmes.
