MMU Solan offers direct admission to some of the programmes based on their merit. Candidates seeking admission in BSc, BVoc, MSc, Diploma and value-added courses are selected based on their qualifying exam scores. Once selected, aspirants have to participate in counselling and seat allotment process. Aspirants also have to confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

The deadline of application to Himachal Pradesh Technical University 2025 is usually presented on its official site. It usually comes during July or August according to the course. Candidates are advised to look it up often. Applications made late might not be accepted.

The HPNLU Shimla CLAT cutoff 2026 was released for admission to BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and BBA LLB (Hons) course for all categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. The closing rank for the General AI category candidates was 1824 for the BA LLB (Hons) course, 1871 for the BBA LLB (Hons) course, and 1655 for LLM course, according to the Round 1 closing ranks. 

For the SC AI quota, the closing cutoff ranks were 10935, 12188, and 4544 for BA LLB( Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses, respectively. Refer to the table below for more information about other categories:

HPNLU Shimla CLAT cut off 2026 is now out for all round and categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. The cutoff was released for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM and BBA LLB (Hons) courses. 

For the General AI category, the BA LLB (Hons) course overall cutoff ranged from 1824 to 2108. Hence, the maximum rank accepted for this course was 2108.
