It accepts admission for the postgraduate degree Master of Arts (M.A.) in Hindi for a total of 40 seats.
To be eligible, candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized institute or university.
For this course, admission is conducted on the basis of merit of graduation score due to less seats available. It publishes a list of shortlisted candidates on their official website or on a notice board.

First of all JNU does not provide any bachleor level course other than languages course, like you can pursue your B.A. In any foreign language other than English which is Also foreign but unfortunately not being taught at JNU. For getting into JNU for B.A. In any language from JNU you have to sit for an entrance exam conducted by NTA every year. For preparation of entrance exam you can google, you may get some help. If you want to do a part-time Master of Arts (MA) in Hindi, you may get admission to universities like Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
Candidates who have passed graduation with Hindi as a mandatory subject or its equivalent from a recognized university are eligible to get admission into the part-time and regular MA in Hindi programme of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha.
