I think it is quite low percentage to get admission there. But, if the seats remain vacant you may get admission there, which is very unlikely though.

But, I can share my observation about the "Age Limit" and the Age Barrier" you have mentioned. See, the Hotel Industry has two sides that way, one is of the Makers and the other is of Managers (Service).
If you want to be a Chef, you must be doing something even now and formal training will make you good enough to get a good career. If it is about being in the Front Office and F & B, the age of 26 isn't wrong. It is rather ideal to do a course and get into the domain ASAP. Smartness matters more than the age.
