• Section-wise Breakdown: The analysis breaks down the performance and difficulty of individual sections. For example, Numerical Ability might be more challenging compared to the English Language section, or General Knowledge could have questions focused on current affairs.
• Question Type and Format: It evaluates the types of questions, whether multiple-choice, reasoning-based, or problem-solving. This also includes an analysis of the weightage of different topics within each section.
• Time Management: The analysis assesses how time-consuming each section is, whether students found certain sections more time-intensive, and how it affected overall performance.

The NCHMCT JEE 2025 exam pattern will consist of 200 objective-type questions divided into five sections:

• English Language: 60 questions (30% weightage)
• Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude: 30 questions (15% weightage)
• Reasoning and Logical Deduction: 30 questions (15% weightage)
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 30 questions (15% weightage)
• Aptitude for Service Sector: 50 questions (25% weightage)

Marking Scheme:

• Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
• There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.

Duration:

• The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Mode of Exam:

• The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode (CBT).

Language of Exam:

• The question paper will be bilingual,  i.e.,  all questions will be available in both English and Hindi language,  except for the English Language section.

The NCHMCT JEE stands for National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination. Every year, the National Testing Agency administers the NCHMCT JEE exam on behalf of the NCHMCT. The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology and IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) together offer a three-year Bachelor of Science in HHA program. All of the partnering institutes recognise the NCHMCT JEE score for admission to their respective Bachelor of Science in HHA programs.
