Hi,
Exact salary depends on the candidate caliber, aptitude, performance in the placements. Good thing would be to support your course with a internship opportunity. It will help in a better position in organisations. On the whole, hotel management definitely has bright scope. Travelling related and five star hotels and aviation sector provide good salary packages. Like say 20,000 - 30,0000 INR per month easily.

Firstly, check your interest in the area. If you are truly interested then look for cutoff marks in 10+2. Invest dedicated number of months for entrance exam preparation and personal interview and group discussion preparation. It will surely pay off with the right college choice.

Take up a Diploma/certificate/Bachelor course in Hotel management. Core subjects include food and beverages, bakery, accommodation and housekeeping, front office, marketing and sales and human resources. Along with a course, do an internship and gain few years of work experience.
10+2, entrance exam and personal interview/group discussion would be ideal to enter the study route of hotel management.
