But if you want to work in India then do the course from India. This will be much cheaper. You take up a job and then do some additional courses (distance learning) related to HM to add more weightage to yor profile and enhance your career.

However, if you are interested in Food and Beverage- Production / Service, then you might have to eat Non-vegetarian as you might have to judge or explain the taste to a fellow guest.
At the same time, you might also be asked to prepare non veg dishes as a part of your syllabus. You can avoid that using your own skills.

1. Quantitative aptitude.
2. Logical reasoning.
3. GK and current affairs.
4. English.
5. Service aptitude.
It is a 3-hour exam, so there will be a lot of time. Now, you can either join some coaching or you can go for self-preparation.
Books:
1. Quant: RS Agarwal.
2. Reasoning: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning by RS Aggarwal.
3. English: You should read newspapers. Norman Lewis for Vocab.
4. GK/ CA: Newspaper for current affairs and Lucent for static GK.
5. Service aptitude: RS Aggarwal.
