Hi,
BHM is a vocational course and hence, you can't take UPSC, CDS or NDA. If you are keen to join any of these look for army jobs as chef through their website. Even navy or marine academy might offer some jobs.

Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Hyderabad
Established in 1972 as a Food Craft Institute, IHM Hyderabad was established by the Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh. It was upgraded into the Institute of Hotel Management, in 1984 and in 1986 affiliated to the fold of National Council for Hotel Management, Catering Technology, New Delhi, an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Govt. of India, informs the official website. Since then, the entire admission process and academic calendar as well as course outline is formulated by the council.

PG is not necessary in HM, it can be a benefit. It is better to first focus on experience and then go forward for further studies.
