You can apply in NCHMCT which is a national level HM exam after 12th and requires 50% in 12th. This is a job that is both physically and mentally demanding, where you are expected to give 110%, day in and day out. Good efforts are seldom appreciated, but a mistake is highlighted in magnifying proportions and in some rare cases can even be grounds for dismissal. Cooking is just one small aspect of a chef's job.
