I suggest going for a BA in Culinary Arts at a college like AIMS Institutes, which will take you through the basics of cookery, knife skills and baking to menu planning, catering and F&B service. With these 3 years of training, you will be more than qualified to work in the QSR industry. In order to secure admission in one of the IHMs, you need to appear for NCHMCT JEE. Apart from that, you can even enroll for Oberoi STEP programme.

Hello tina, welcome to https://shiksha.com, both specializations you selected are different in subjects and career forms, both have their own importance and other point consider is what university or b.school you are going to study, because for PG especially MBA, college and major project matters while starting a career.

hellow rikik,
as you know a person can excel in every feild if he has true desire and dedication to achieve it.
These days both of them are gaining the attention of youth as they are good enough.
but hotel management provides you more security in terms of salary ,job and good placement as you have asked. whereas event management may be little bit occasional but due to the lavish ceremonies , shows or functions this has also gained importance.
as hotel management is much broader than ev. mang. it is more flexible and you have several options in it. so take your time and choose the one which suites you.
