You need to log in to the University and finish the entrance forms and hand in entrance marks so as to be able to get a seat in the Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Be a part of counselling or merit list. It will be mandatory to pay seat confirmation fee by the shortlisted candidates. Track these changes on the official site of the university.

The candidates are required to apply online with the required entrance exams in order to get admission in Himachal Pradesh Technical University. The courses are selected on the basis of JEE Main, or HPCET, or merit-based. Admission is done after the submission of the fees as the final part. Prior to enabling one to apply, course-wise eligibility has to be ascertained.

You can get direct admission in merit-based courses at Himachal Pradesh Technical University with 60% in Class 12. For BTech and other entrance-based programs, you also need JEE Main or HPCET scores. Reserved category students have relaxed criteria. Always check the latest cut-off marks.

The eligibility criteria to take admission in the HPTU MBA programme is having a Bachelor degree with a 50 percent mark. The students under the reserved category should have an aggregate of at least 45 percent. The degree should be of a reputable university. One should meet eligibility before entrance test scores are taken.

HPTU has valid scores of MAT, CAT, CMAT and HPCET cut offs to be taken in admission to the MBA. With any of this examination results, the candidate can apply. Hiring is competitive and is guided by merit and score in the test of choice. The scores that rank higher provide an advantage of being selected.

The MBA/PGDM course offered by the HPTU is of 2 years full time. It equips students in leadership in different fields. The programme will have main business courses as well as electives. The programme also includes practical exposure, and industry interaction.

To qualify in HPTU BTech, applicants should score 45 percent in Class 12 containing physics and mathematics. 40 percent aggregate is required by reserved category students. The third subject can be Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational. To apply, it is required that these criteria should be met.
