IBPS RRB marks are calculated as per process. One mark is given for right answers. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers. Candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks to clear the exam.

IBPS RRB Clerk exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims and Mains exams. The PO exam pattern comprises prelims Mains and interview. IBPS RRB SO exam pattern comprises single online exam and interview.

IBPS RRB exam day guidelines related to COVID-19 are given below:
- Candidates are required to report at the exam centre as per the time slot mentioned on the admit card
- Candidates are required to report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time
- Mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and ‘Lab Number’ will not be displayed outside the exam venue
- Candidates need to wear masks while appearing for the exam
- They are allowed to carry a personal transparent water bottle
- Candidates can carry personal hand sanitiser of 50 ml
- Candidate should maintain a safe social distance from one another

Some of the IBPS RRB exam day guidelines are given below:
- Latecomers are not allowed to enter the exam centre
- Bring admit card to the exam centre
- Do not use calculators, books, notebooks or written notes, cell phones, or any other electronic device
- Candidates must bring additional passport-size photographs
- Any stationery items are not allowed

In order to appear for IBPS RRB exam, candidates need to carry one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Candidates must bring valid photo identity proof such as PAN Card/Passport/ Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card with photograph/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof with photograph issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative along with a photograph (on official letterhead)/Identity Card issued by a recognised College/ University/Aadhar/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph / Bar Council Identity card with photograph /Employee ID). IBPS RRB Clerk prelims admit card 2023 was released on July 26, 2023. IBPS RRB Clerk Mains admit card was released on September 9. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. The admit card comprises every details related to the exam such as candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, password, scanned photograph, signature, etc. Candidates will not receive the hard copy of their admit cards and they need to download it online. After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to check the details carefully and for any discrepancies they should report it to the examination authority.
