The prelims exam of IBPS RRB PO 2023 was conducted on August 5 and 6, 2023. The prelims exam for IBPS RRB Clerk was conducted on August 12, 13 & 19, 2023. The prelims exam of IBPS RRB PO and Clerk comprises two sections-Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude. The test carries 80 questions and total marks allotted to the test are 80. The duration of the exam is 45 minutes. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The prelims exam is conducted only to screen candidates for the mains exam.
