The overall difficulty level of the IBPS RRB paper in 2023 was rated easy to moderate. The table shows the approximate number of questions in each section with difficulty level. The Mains exam pattern is given below.

In the event where RRBs have announced further vacancies, provisional allotment is carried out from the reserve list. Wherein two or more candidates secure the same score, the merit order is decided as per the date of birth. This means candidates senior in age are placed above the one junior in age.

The provisional allotment is done in the following manner:
- Once the interview/mains examination is completed, depending on the number of IBPS RRB vacancies, shortlisted candidates are provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs
- The provisional allotment of candidates in IBPS RRB exam is done based on merit-cum-preference
- For Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment is done within the RRBs of the state opted by the candidates
- Candidates belonging to the reserved category, selected on the basis of the norms of the General category will be treated as per General Category candidates

For the IBPS RRB PO interview, a total of 100 marks are allotted. The weightage of the Online Examination to the Interview is 80:20, respectively. Candidates need to secure 40 per cent in the interview. While for those belonging to ST/SC/OBC/PWD categories, the qualifying percentage is slightly lower at 35 per cent. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview.

An score of 70 marks are considered as good in IBPS RRB PO prelims exam. Candidates must attempt 30 to 35 questions in Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude correctly.

To download admit card candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. Hard copy of admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for exam.

IBPS RRB Score Card link is made available on IBPS website. Candidates who appear for exam can download their IBPS RRB scorecards by clicking link provided on this page. To download IBPS RRB scorecard candidates are required to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password and then captcha image. Scorecard carries details such as candidate's name, roll number, section-wise marks, overall marks, section-wise cut off, overall cut off, etc.
