To crack the ICAR AIEEA UG exam, candidates should strategies for the exam preparation as under:
- Make a proper study plan for each section.
- Know the exam pattern and syllabus.
- List out important topics from the syllabus of each section.
- Get the books, study material and mock test for practice.
- Revise everything prepared to score well.

Candidates reporting for admission to the allotted university must have final year/final semester results in hand, such as their final OGPA/CGPA or final percentage of marks, where students do not get grade points. Candidates need to submit a Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) /Degree certificate of qualifying graduate examination issued by the university for this purpose. The candidates should note that the university may deny admission in case the PDC is not produced at the time of verification during counselling. No correspondence shall be entertained by the Council in this regard.

The candidates having a Bachelor's degree with 3 years duration will not be considered for admission through ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2024 in AUs under the ICAR-AU system except in a few courses at three ICAR-Deemed to be Universities (DUs), viz. IARI, IVRI and NDRI for which the eligibility criteria of the concerned ICAR-DU, including admission of graduates having passed with 3 years' degree, would prevail for admission.

If a candidate of the OBC Category scores 300 or higher in the ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam then, it is a good score. If the score is 450 or above then it is considered to be a good score for general category candidates.

The syllabus for both exams, NEET and ICAR is the same because both classes 11 and 12 syllabus is included for these entrance exam preparation . There is only one difference and that is the exam pattern. However, with practice one should be able to crack both exams.

If the participating candidates want to appear for the ICAR AIEEA Exam then he/she should have studied and passed class 12 with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture as core courses.

It is important for candidates to be thorough with their coaching modules, preparation notes, and revision, all these three things are more than enough. Also, students who are self-preparing for the exam should properly prepare for their subjects like Biology, Chemistry and NCERT.

The test of AIEEA has a single paper of 2 hours duration. Details of the test are given below:
Mode of Examination: CBT (Computer-Based Test)
Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
Number of Questions: 120
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
Scoring: 4 marks for each correct response, -1 mark for each incorrect response (negative scoring) and 0 for non-attempt Medium of Paper English only

Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for online counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation subject and the Agricultural University. The schedule for online counselling is notified separately on the ICAR website, after the declaration of result. The admission and scholarship will be granted only when the candidate wish to get admission through counselling process, which is held by ICAR AIEEA 2025 and shall be awarded only after the completion of Online Counseling.
