Yes, ICAR AIEEA is necessary for MSc admission at UHS Bagalkot. As per admissions criteria 2025, UHS Bagalkot takes into account ICAR AIEEA scores for its admissions process. In addition to that, candidates also need to have a minimum aggregate score of 60% in graduation.
Candidates after taking the ICAR AIEEA exam for MSc should wait for counselling to start. Once the counselling starts candidates can apply for the UHS Bagalkot BSc programme through online counselling and finish the admission formalities by visiting the campus.

Desired rank brackets are 500 to 5000 for general category candidates, while OBC/SC/ST cutoff ranks are 5000 to 15000, for admission in B.Sc. (Agriculture) at Assam Agricultural University through ICAR AIEEA (UG) 2023. A score of 350-450/720 will suffice for 200+ available seats.
Regarding the available state quota of 85%, it heavily favors residents of Assam. Higher ranks fetch preferential-specialized courses, for example, Horticulture.

You may not need ICAR AIEEA to take admission in B.Sc. programs at Assam Agricultural University (AAU). AAU administers its own entrance exam AAU CET that is the principal mode of admissions for undergraduate studies such as B.Sc. Agriculture and allied science. You also have the facility to apply via other recognised national-level exams like CUET.

The ICAR AIEEA counselling process is conducted in online mode. All the selected candidates who qualified the exam, only they are eligible for the ICAR AIEEA Counselling Process.
Candidates need to fill in their course and college preferences, and upload all the important documents. Based on seat availability, merit the seats are alloted to the selected candidates during the counselling process. Once a seat is allotted, students need to submit the seat acceptance fee and verify their documents. It is suggested to all candidates to keep all documents ready beforehand.

Candidates who wish to get direct admission to postgraduate courses through ICAR, should know that there is no such provision. All applicants need appear for the ICAR AIEEA PG Exam and qualify through the exam and the counselling process as well. Candidates should know that the ICAR Exam follows the merit-based admission across all ICAR-affiliated agricultural universities. Even candidates who belong to special categories or reserved seats, the exam and counselling process is mandatory.

Students from other states are allowed to appear for the ICAR AIEEA exam. Students should get atleast 40 per cent to be eligible for the ICAR exam as per their course. It is important to go through the ICAR AIEEA eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

The ICAR AIEEA exam was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam was conducted on July 4, in two shifts. The shift timings are Shift 1 (10 AM to 12 PM) and Shift 2 (3 PM to 5 PM).
