Students must receive a minimum % in each subject to pass the ICSE Class 10 board exam, so failing one subject could prevent them from passing the entire test. An additional exam in the failing subject is permitted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). This provides a chance for them to raise their score and earn a passing grade. It is advised that students get ready for this opportunity to improve their academic standing.

This can help reduce exam anxiety and help students perform better in the actual exam. However, it is important to note that specimen papers are not the only resource for preparing for the ICSE exam. Students should also refer to their textbooks, notes, and other study materials to prepare thoroughly for the exam.

CBSE and CISCE are national boards while every state has its own education board. All the educational boards in India are equally good and are acceptable throughout India for competitive exams and jobs. However, since CBSE and ICSE have their presence across the nation and abroad, it is easier to get through colleges and universities outside India you complete your studies from the national boards.

The format of the ICSE 10th exams in 2024 will remain the same and they will be administered offline. The length of each subject's exam will vary, and it will take place in February or March of 2024. Each topic will have a maximum grade of 80, and students will be required to write their papers for a maximum of 80 marks. Each subject will have an internal evaluation worth twenty marks.
