CISCE has stopped conducting the ISC compartment exams. It provides the facility of rechecking and revaluation of the answer sheets to its students. Students who appeared for the ISC exam and are not happy with their marks have the facility to apply and sit for the improvement exams. The ISC improvement exams 2026 will begin in July 2026. The ISC improvement result 2026 will likely be announced in the first week of August 2026.

ISC practical exams 2026 will be conducted in January 2026 in students' own schools. According to ISC time table 2026, exams are scheduled between February 12 and April 6, 2026. The ISC Board theory exams 2026 will be held in pen and paper format.

There is no information about ICSE 10th exams going digital this year. In case this happens, the board will inform if any changes are made in the ICSE exam pattern.

The Council will conduct ICSE exams 2026 in pen and paper format from February 17 and March 30, 2026. Students must go through the detailed ICSE syllabus and exam pattern to know the topics, units to study and to know the marking scheme, the difficulty level and more.

According to the ICSE exam pattern 2026, there will be one external examiner for the practical exams and internal assessments. This external examiner will be a teacher who does not teach the examinee's class for that particular subject. The external examiner will evaluate 10 marks out of the total 20 marks allotted for the subject.
