Hello Manisha Adhikari, your JEE Mains rank of about two and a half Lacs is reasonably okay but it may not fetch you a SEED in NIT etc. This is because the maximum number of seats available in these institutions is just about 50000 and out of these 50% are for various reserved categories so you can imagine how much is available for general category. If you are from EWS category then out of the 25000 seeds only 10% or available and in that also you are ranking is more than 40000. So you can SEE for yourself as to where you stand. But then admissions are a very funny process many time's surprising results come out and students way below in the ranking sometimes get admission. I will request you not to lose hope and take part in the admission process. With AJEE Main rank of 61884 and OBC category rank of 18,000, you have a decent chance of getting admission in some of the NITs and IIITs for B.Tech in Biotechnology or related branches.
