My friend got 187 marks in JEE Mains 2017, which I think are approximately equal to your score in JEE Mains 2018. He was not able to make it to IIIT-Bangalore. Last year's cutoff was 190 marks and cutoff marks of IIIT-Bangalore is increasing every year. Therefore, there are less chances for you to get into it. But, do not worry, there are endless chances and opportunities waiting for you ahead. Best of Luck.

Hello Shreyansh,
Your rank is good but if you belong to general category then it might be not possible for you. But you can apply in counselling. Or use the Shiksha college predictor:-

IIEST, Shibpur is better as it holds 17th rank in All India Engineering colleges by MHRD. From my personal experience NIT Andhra Pradesh is not a good opinion.

The differences-
The CS engineering programme usually deals with how to build microprocessors, how to write a compiler, etc. IT is the business side of computers - usually dealing with databases, business, and accounting. One way to think of it is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes and CSE deals with the Science that facilitates these applications. Further, while CSE focuses on the foundation of computing, IT as a discipline focuses on satisfying the computing technology needs of organisations. So, in a continuum between principles and application, IT focuses more on application, with the g

We cannot compare those institutes because as we know the syllabus for ECE will be same. It depends upon which institute you can get also what quality of faculty is available there. Also, the thing that counts is your hard work and dedication towards that particular subject. If it there then doesn't matter what institute you are studying in.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well. If you are talking about the B.Tech branches i.e. CS or IT then you should start with IIITs as they are having CS branch and after that NITs are having CS branch.
