Difference is of the level only. IIIT, Hyderabad has a very high level in comparison of IIIT Delhi. Placements of IIIT Hyderabad are the best in India.

Hello,
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITK) is a new institution and is only 3 years old. Therefore, the 1st year placements haven't started yet. However, the 3rd year students have bagged some excellent internship offers. There is a separate Training and placement cell maintained by the college and we are pretty confident about the companies and the job packages.

Difference? On any day, IIT is the best. It is run by central government. IIIT's are funded by private and government. IIIT's are recent creations. Mostly IIIT'S are funded by private software companies like Infosys, etc. IITs teach diverse disciplines. IIIT'S predominantly teach computer-related disciplines only.
