IIIT-Ranchi is newly constructed college. As far as NIT-Agartala is concerned, it is one of the oldest NITs. The other factor you can consider, is if you haven't got branch of your choice, then you can go for Ranchi instead of studying halfheartedly for Civil, but overall NITA is much better option.

Nit colleges can be regarded as best choice but only some colleges offer pure sciences so refer to cut off ranks and decide which is better.you can also choose some universities which consider jee main rank

Fee Payment:
Candidates are not required to make any payment for registration and filling up of choices. To accept allotted seats, candidates must pay seat acceptance fee. The seat acceptance fee for SC, ST and PwD candidates is Rs. 20,000 and for others, it is Rs. 45,000. Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee through e-challan at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) or pay online using SBI Internet banking.
Note: The seat acceptance fee mentioned above is according to the year 2016 fee structure. The fee structure will be updated once it is officially announced.

No, the marks of paper 2 can get you a seat for B. Architecture only. For admission in B.Tech (like civil engineering) JEE Paper 1 will be considered. BEST OF LUCK!

ECE IIIT-H would be better if you want o further concentrate on IT field. It is the best institute for It and related fields even better than many IITs. It is better in terms of Placement, infrastructure, academics, and graduation outcome. Thank You. Hope this helps!
