As per your own estimate you are likely to get less than 50% marks. IIITs are most sought-after Institutions for those appearing for JEE Mains. I feel you have very less chances in getting admission.

You may get best NITs with such a good score. You can see the cut-off marks by JOSAA here:

If you want to know different courses conducted by these institutions then it's available on their respective websites. It's of course better to know different courses and then decide.
Best wishes.

A doctoral degree is typically required to work as a full-time, tenure-track university professor. You should be prepared to earn an undergraduate degree in your chosen subject area, go to graduate school, complete a Ph.D. programme, conduct independent research, and write and publish articles in scholarly journals.
As you keep on earning more experience in the field, you will become eligible to be a professor in IIIT. Check the careers section on the IIIT website for the minimum eligibility criteria to be a professor.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Unfortunately, if you score 75% or less these institutions do not admit. However, Delhi and some other few states accept JEE Mains score for admission and requirement of 12th percentage is less. You can attempt there.
