Candidates must have completed a 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech, B.E, or equivalent) in any of the following branches: Computer engineering, Information systems, Computer Science and engineering, Information technology, Electronics, and communication engineering + a valid GATE score, Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Design/Science or Equivalent (4 year programme after 10+2) or Masters degree in Science/Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade. All of the important chapters and the subjects they cover for the test are included in the syllabus. They should plan their preparation with the syllabus's level in mind.

Yes, you must apply for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling if you wish to gain admission to the participating schools (IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs) and you have qualified for JEE Advanced 2024 or JEE Main 2024. For all participating institutions, JoSAA is in charge of the centralised counselling and seat allocation procedure, which is dependent on the candidates' ranks in either JEE Main or JEE Advanced 2024. JoSAA is used for the whole admissions process, which includes seat assignment, acceptance, and reporting to the designated institute.

You can get With a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 4.9 Lacs and an EWS category rank of 72,000 in JEE Mains, admission to NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs chance is less. These colleges generally have much higher cutoffs. However, you can check some other state engineering colleges or private colleges, which might have lower cutoff ranks. you should check individual college cutoffs and consider state quota advantages if available and go through it.

The IIITH UGEE 2024 application form was released on February 6, 2024, and closed on April 1, 2024. Candidates could access the form online, where they had to register, fill out details, and submit the required fee through debit card/credit card/net banking. The application process was strictly online, with no extensions granted after the closing date. The IIITH UGEE exam itself took place on May 4, 2024, and the results are expected to be announced tentatively in May 2024. Successful candidates will proceed to an online interview from June 11 to June 13, 2024, as part of the selection process for admissions to IIIT Hyderabad.
