B.A. (Hons) in Journalism Media and Communication is a three year undergraduate degree programme and students with any discipline in 10+2 from any recognised board can do so. During the three years programme, the students are taught an array of subjects ranging from Introduction to Journalism, Media and Communication, Reporting and Editing for Print, Media and Cultural Studies, Broadcast Media, Advertising and Public Relations, New Media, Development Communication, Media Ethics and Law and Global Media and Politics. With a liberal education degree, you can branch out into many different career options, such as journalism, public relations, writing, law, politics, linguistics, publishing, social work, psychology, management, public policy, civil services, and so on. 

At IILM University, the student's overall health and well being is very important. Yes, it is mandatory for all students staying in the hostel to have health/medical insurance. This can be facilitated by the institute in case the student does not have one already. However, if the student has their own family insurance then a copy of the same is mandatory to be submitted to the university. We also have a tie up with hospitals around our campus for students/staff members in case of any emergency. Further, students can consult doctors who visit our campus frequently for any health related concerns. Details are mentioned in our Residential Handbook and website.
