It is pretty diverse. Some go into litigation, joining senior advocates and eventually practicing independently. Others join law firms, especially in corporate law. A few pursue judicial services, aiming for judge positions. There are also a couple of graduates who step into policy-making, NGOs, or even mix law with business.

First year itself! A lot of the students do internships with NGOs, legal aid cells, or junior advocates just to get exposure.
By second year, people start interning with law firms or in-house legal teams. The career development cell helps, but honestly, professors and seniors also give you contacts. It's a gradual build-up, so by the end of the degree, students have interned in multiple places and gained a good amount of experience and exposure.
