Hi Adrita,
IIM Bangalore as such does not have any minimum cutoff percentage in class 10th, 12th or Bachelors, which you need to clear. However, it assigns a weight of 50% (20% for 10th, 10% for 12th and 20% for bachelors score) and thus, it would be difficult to get a call from IIM Bangalore (refer to http://www.iimb.ac.in/sites/default/files/iimb-pgp-admission-process.pdf). IIM Ahmedabad on the other hand has a minimum cutoff percentage which is set at 80 percentile score. Thus, looking at your graduation score, it would be impossible to get a call from IIMA (unless you are in top 20 percentile at your college, please refer to https:/

Hi Ashish, it would be very difficult for you to get an interview call for either IIM A or IIM B, due to low percentage in PUC. However, you should try to score as high as you can in CAT and you might end up in top 7 IIMs or other top management colleges. All the best.

The question is not very clear. Could you please provide some more context or information? If its just written work experience of 2-5 years, I would assume it means "having a work experience ranging from 2 to 5 years". But, it would surely help if you could tell where you read that.

Hi,
It is simply not possible to know the exact CAT percentile which can guarantee a call. It depends on other factors as well, such as the academic diversity, work-experience (both in terms of number of months and relevance) and academic diversity. Apart from that, it also changes from year to year and can be quite random. So, instead of trying to score a fixed number, I would suggest you to give your best and try to maximize your score. That way, even if you don't get a call from IIMB, you still can aim for other top management schools. If you are talking in terms of minimum possible cutoffs to be eligible, then in 2017, it was 75 in

I have very limited knowledge of the same. Therefore, I would request you to look at HRD's rankings, Times of India and Hindustan Times rankings.

Honestly speaking both colleges are good. They both are government top management college and the tag of any college in your CV is good. You can prefer any college after reading this, but keep in mind studying away from home is very hard.So try to take the nearest college.
Placements at IIM, Bangalore, and IIM, Ahmedabad:-
At IIM-B PGP 2015-17 placements there were 410 students. About 413 offered were made while 410 offers were accepted. Approximately 150 companies participated. Top recruiters for summer placements were The Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Aditya Birla Group, McKinsey, and company, AT K

Hello,
IIM's are still in the phase of earning a recognition for their 1-year program. I would rank ISB as the top most choice for the same. It is ranked under top 30 colleges for doing MBA from around the world. The program, course structure, faculty and post-MBA placements are excellent in ISB and have been a threat to all major IIM's one year MBA programs.
While getting into ISB's one year program is extremely difficult, it is comparatively easy to get into EPGP of IIM B. The second choice would be SP Jain. While ISB is pretty much ahead of SP Jain with respect to the above parameters, SP Jain is slowly catching up with the top colleg
