Hi Debasish,
College do have reservations for all categories. You will also find reservation for OBC in both IIM's/IIT. But I would suggest you to contact the officials directly as they will be able to guide you with the updated information.

All the central government funded colleges have NC-OBC reservation for MBA. For ex: Central Universities of India,NIT's, IIT's, IIFM Bhopal etc.
Also some state funded colleges are giving this reservation for their respective state candidates. For ex: If you are a Maharashtra born candidate then you can avail this reservation in their respective government colleges.

Hi Satish,
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need:
Graduation in any field with at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible to apply. Then, you need to clear the selection process of the B-school, starting with an entrance test accepted by the B-School. For e.g. CAT, MAT, SNAP, CMAT.
You need to give entrance exams for IIM,IIFT & XLRI.
IIM-CAT
IIFT-IIFT
XLRI-XAT

IIM curriculum is completely different from any top b schools in the country. Nowadays every b schools is trying to adopt IIM Curriculum. Also their placement consistency and the quality of teaching is very high.
The pressure of studying in IIM is very high. Its tough to compete there. But once you completed then you will stand different in the crowd with your high knowledge.

Don't concentrate only on IIM's. There are best b schools other than IIM's . In top 10 b schools in the country only 5 are filled with IIM other positions are filled by private colleges. So try to apply to all those colleges along with IIM.

Hi Surgul,
IIMA offers a research level degree in the similar line as PhD called FPM (Fellowship program in Management). I do not have the exact details as I am a PGP student. You can find out more details about FPM on IIMA's website.
