Hello Anshul,
Even though, recognition as IIT came quite late, earlier version of ISM was indeed having great academic reputation. Hence, I feel that you should have no hesitancy in joining chemical engineering in this IIT.

Hi Vijay,
Yes, it is very well available. You can go for it but you should have some minimum CGPA criteria in order to do that.
My best wishes.
All the very best.

I will advice you to first sort your branch preference. For example you want to take civil branch , next question arises which IIT, so then you can visit website and check your their respective placement statistics. This way u will get clear insight.

B.Tech + M.Tech is a 5-year integrated course. It helps you to save one year after completing your post-graduation. Also, if you crack IITs then you don't have to again prepare for GATE to get IITs for M.Tech as well.

IIT Dhanbad carries a legacy of highly qualified faculty and excellent placement records in CSE department, the only drawback is location.so your choice depends on your preference.

If you are talking about M.Tech course, yes IIT-Dhanbad accepts GATE score for the M.Tech course and there is no spot round.

First of all, you should choose the branch wisely as if you are interested in core electronics, you should opt for ECE at Pondicherry but if you are more in physics related stuff you should go for metallurgy at ISM-Dhanbad instead of NIT-Trichy as ISM-Dhanbad is specially built for branches like metallurgy and mining and is doing good. Hope it helps. All the best.
