The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering at IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) other than General category are - 4347 for OBC, 2441 for SC, 1061 for ST, 2116 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2022, cut off was 12864 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM). For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 22202 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is 3258 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Dhanbad (ISM).

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 10102 and closing rank was 11339. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 16632 and 17395. Admission to B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

GATE COAP Round 6 Seat Allotment results have been released on Jun 23 by IIT Kharagpur for IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. The last date to view offers and take a decision for Round was Jun 25 (9 AM). Options available to candidates for Round 6 include 'Accept & Freeze' and 'Reject & Wait'.
GATE COAP 2023 is to be conducted in five main and five additional rounds for admission to IITM.Techcourses.
