The total tuition fee for IIT Dhanbad BTech ranges from INR 8 lakh to INR 8.3 lakh. This fee is taken from an unofficial source. Hence, is indicative. Students cam visit IIT ISM website for more details or the admission office in person. Apart from the programme fee, aspirants also need to pay a registration fee in the start. BTech and BTech (Dual Degree) aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee is INR 1000 for unreserved category candidates while for reserved category and female candidates is INR 800.

Yes, IIT Dhanbad offers a four-year BTech degree course in Computer Science & Engineering. Admission to the four-year course is entrance-based. It is also one of the top BTech branches. As per the IIT ISM Dhanbad's past years records, almost 100% of students from the CSE department get placed.

To get admission in IIT Dhanbad BTech course, candidates have to fill the online application form must and check the eligibility criteria of each course before filling the form.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates seeking admission need to take JEE Main exam and then JEE Advanced. Aspirants need to qualify both the entrance exams to be considered for JoSAA Counselling.
Counselling & Seat Allotment:
Further, the students who secure the cutoff marks are called for JoSAA Counselling, based on which the seat allotment is carried out.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 3009. In 2023, it increased to 3258. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1056 to 1190 for OBC, 613 to 712 for SC, 259 to 243 for ST, 426 to 466 for EWS, 87 to 109 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

For the IIT Dhanbad ISM cutoff 2024, a total of 5 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs were released for BTech admission. Talking about the JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 for the last round, IIT BHU is more competitive among the students. The Last Round cutoff for IIT BHU was 1071 for CSE, which is very low as compared to IIT Dhanbad's CSE cutoff 3846 for general AI category students.

IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Electrical Engineering other than General category are mentioned below:
- 2938 for OBC
- 1589 for SC
- 638 for ST
- 136 for EWS
While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 6967 and closing rank was 7784. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2065 and 12466. Admission to B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2023 cut off was 7784 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Electrical Engineering. IIT Dhanbad (ISM) Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) admissions 2024 are based on IIT2 Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 12466 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
