IIT JAM Cut-off

In Round 1 of IIT Kharagpur admission, the minimum and maximum ranks required for admission ranged between 74 to 239 for General AI category. However, students must check which MSc specialisations are available with a cutoff rank of 100 and below, as cutoff ranks differ for various specialisations, ranks, and categories. The table below contains the closing ranks in IIT JAM for the MSc admissions at IIT Kharagpur:

IIT JAM2025 Cut off will be released in two to three days after the result declaration. IIT JAM 2025 result was announced on March 18, 2025.

The authorities will be preparing the JAM cut off 2025 after checking various factors related to the entrance examination. IIT JAM 2025 cutoff will vary according to the subject and category that the candidate belongs to. Later, the authorities will also release the IIT JAM admission cutoff.

Scribes will be arranged for those PwD candidates who have requested to be provided with a scribe at the time of application.
Qualification of the scribe arranged by test center will NOT be more than the minimum eligibility criteria of JAM 2026. However, the qualification of the scribe will be matriculation (10th) or above. If there are Y candidates who require scribe, it will be ensured that a panel of (Y+1) scribes is available at the exam centre so that every candidate can have an alternative scribe to choose for the services.

IIT Roorkee accepts IIT JAM scores for admission to the MSc course. Analysing the IIT JAM cutoff, MSc in Economics was turned out to be the most competitive specialisations when compared it with the other four specialisations. For Mathematics, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 247 and 272, respectively for the Economically Weaker Section category candidates for the All India Quota. So, considering the 2023 cutoff ranks, yes a candidate can get into IIT Roorkee with 200 rank in IIT JAM for MSc in Mathematics.
