IIT JAM Cut-off

The IIT Gandhinagar JAM Cutoff is out for Round 2. The most competitive course as per the Cutoff was M.Sc in Mathematics. The Cutoff for M.Sc in Mathematics is 391, for the General AI category candidates. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff rank for M.Sc in Mathematics is 601.

If not eligible for IIT Gandhinagar, Candidates can opt for IIT Ropar for M.Sc in Mathematics with a Cutoff of 432, for the General AI category candidates. 

IIT Jammu JAM Cutoff 2024 is out for Round 2. The most competitive course as per the Cutoff was M.Sc in Chemistry, with a closing rank of 705. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff rank for M.Sc in Chemistry is 1032. 

If the Cutoff score is more than 705, there is no scope for admission to M.Sc in Chemistry in any other IIT. 

IIT Roorkee MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for the Last Round. As per the cutoff released, the top courses are M.Sc. in Applied Geology, M.Sc. in Economics, and M.Sc. in Mathematics. Wherein, MSc in Applied Geology was the most competitive course with the cutoff score of 232. Considering the Last Round cutoff, the required rank needed would be varied from 52 to 232 for getting admission at IIT Roorkee.

IIT Hyderabad cutoff 2024 has been released across various specialisations in the form of opening and closing ranks. IIT Hyderabad MSc cutoff 2024 ranged between, 332 and 345 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the top courses with the highest ranks needed were M.Sc. in Mathematics (332), and M.Sc. in Chemistry (336). In Round 1 of IIT Kharagpur admission, the minimum and maximum ranks required for admission ranged between 74 to 239 for General AI category. However, students must check which MSc specialisations are available with a cutoff rank of 100 and below, as cutoff ranks differ for various specialisations, ranks, and categories. IIT JAM 2026 counselling schedule is out. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on May 25, 2026. The counselling registration will begin in March 27, 2026.

Scribes were arranged for those PwD candidates who had requested to be provided with a scribe at the time of application.
Qualification of the scribe arranged by test centre will NOT be more than the minimum eligibility criteria of JAM 2026. However, the qualification of the scribe is be matriculation (10th) or above. If there are Y candidates who require a scribe, it will be ensured that a panel of (Y+1) scribes is available at the exam centre so that every candidate can have an alternative scribe to choose for the services.
