The fees for an OBC candidate must be in range of 4-6 lacs for two year MBA course as well as M.Tech course. Although, you can contact admission committee for the OBC candidate's fee structure of M.Tech.

You need to score minimum 180-200 marks to get a good branch. It depends on the branch as well.

No, if you are from general category, you should not apply for it as the cut-off will be very high. You can try for ITM Mumbai, Christ University-Bangalore, Alliance University-Bangalore, NIA Pune, SIES-Mumbai and Welingkar-Mumbai.

With good knowledge, you can crack these exams. Although, there are students in IIT, who scored 60 to 70% in SSC.

Less chances to get IIT-KGP at this score, a score around 90-95 percentile is a good score to get a call from IIT-KGP.

If you are from general category, then it will be very difficult as the cutoff will be around 92 percentile for most of the IITs.

JEE Mains will allow you to take admission in state government colleges and NITs. For IITs, you need to crack JEE advance. You need to score above 180 marks in JEE Advance for IIT – Kharagpur, if you belong to SC category.

Try to pursue it based on your interest but I would suggest you to purse chemical engineering but see to it if you are good in chemistry, go for it.
