The cut-off marks for IIT Roorkee MBA programme is based on the CAT percentile score, but the final admission is determined by the following: CAT Score, Academic Performance, GD and PI score, and Professional Experience. IIT Roorkee MBA cut off is decided by the IIT Roorkee admission committee separately for each year.

CAT cutoff depends on colleges. Like IIMs never take below 99.98%. Baby IIMs do not take below 96%. Previous year's average was 84%. Above this score, there would have been a possibility of getting calls.

Previously, only one company arrived for placement of 30 Lacs which follows the procedure like 8.5+ gpa and internship etc. Frankly speaking, IIT Roorkee placement is not good. I will never suggest to rely on it and wait till placement period for deciding your future. Between it may vary also, from one batch to another as students representative only calls up for placement companies. But it would be better to apply off campus too, or prepare for some government services.

IIT Roorkee ECE is much more better option than IIT Indore car. ECE is the most demanding branch after CSE today and also in terms of placement. Secondly IIT Roorkee is better than Indore according to nirf ranking also.
