The Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to shortlist candidates for admission to B.Tech courses at IITs, NITs, and IIITs. As you are aware, the JEE Main Cutoff for 2022 was recently released, and usually this cutoff is of two types: the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff. Most of the IITs now offer Direct Phd as well as Phd after your masters. For direct Phd: After completing your Bachelors degree in relevant field you are required to appear a National Level Competitive Exam (GATE, JAM, CSIR etc). with 75% marks in bachelors or a CGPA of 7.5 or above. Admission After Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (ME/MS/MTech) with minimum 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent. Master's degree in science (MSc) with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent with NET (CSIR/UGC) or GATE score.
