If you're looking for a programme that integrates technology and management, an IIT might be a strong choice. On the other hand, if you're seeking a comprehensive business education with a broad network and strong industry connections, an IIM could be the better fit.

Hope this helps

Some IITs and NITs have offered self-sponsored seat M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and NIT Trichy are some of the prominent institutions that reserve seats for the candidates who are sponsored by their employers. NIT Calicut and NIT Silchar also have self-sponsored admissions. The seats are usually filled through GATE exam but some may not require candidates to take the exam, but they must have work experience in related fields.

For pursuing an M.Sc. in another says top NITs such as Trichy & Rourkela outshine in Chemistry as a newer institute of IIT. It is unlikely that you will get admission into an M.Sc. Chemistry programme at IITs or NITs with 11 marks in the IIT JAM exam since the competition here is pretty high. Typically, cut-off scores are much higher for IITs and NITs, considering the category and institute. Different institutes such as IITs or NITs set their own cut off in the light of examination, applicants, and availability. One should always try to find out the institute wise cut off for each institutes of interest. Then there is also the second attempt of the examination where a higher score is guaranteed.

At an OBC rank of 2497 in JEE Advanced, it is probable to find many of the best IITs in India where admission might be possible although that differs from year to year depending on the branch's demand.

Top IITs and branches to be most likely a part of:

IIT Kharagpur: You may expect branches like Civil Engineering or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
IIT Roorkee: Count on branches like Architecture Production and Industrial Engineering.
IIT Bhubaneswar may offer you any of these options Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

What remains true is that all this will be really based on that cutoff for each of the branches at t

With a SC category rank of 3568 in JEE Advanced, you have a decent chance of being able to get into several IITs, though some branches will depend on the cut-off of the year. The branches which you should expect may include Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering at premier IITs like IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, or IIT Madras. The new IITs, such as IIT Bhilai, IIT Goa, and IIT Jammu, may still offer good options for core branches like Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. The final options will be presented through JoSAA counselling.
