You cannot pursue BTech in CSE at IITs with PCB stream in Class 12 as the eligibility criteria mentioned by the Indian Institutes of Technology ask for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in Class 12. Mathematics is considered to be a crucial subject for the student to enter the field of Computer Engineering. Also, you must secure a minimum of 75% aggregate marks and clear the entrance exam with a really good rank to be able to get into any of the IIT branches.
Hope this answers your query. Have a good day.

Hey Jyoti,
No, you can not take admission for M.Tech in NITs and IITs through CIWG quota. CIWG quota is specifically for undergraduate students admission under DASA scheme of government.
For M.Tech admission in IITs and NITs you have to crack the GATE ( Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering) examination with good scores. It doesn't have any special quota for CIWG students. You can also participate in COAP and CCMT programs.

In order to secure admission to M.Tech in Structural Engineering course at the IITs, you must secure at least 60% marks in your bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. For reserved category candidates, the marks eligibility requirement is usually 55% in graduation. Further, you have to appear for the GATE exam. You must secure a good rank in GATE 2025 to be considered for admission.
After you successfully secure a decent rank in the GATE exam, you will have to appear for the COAP counselling process where you will be allotted a seat according to your rank at one of the IIT branches in India.

Direct admission to an M.Sc. programme in IITs without an entrance exam like IIT JAM is generally not common, as IITs usually require candidates to clear the entrance exam for admission to their M.Sc. courses. However, there are a few exceptions or alternative paths where direct admission may be possible, but they are rare.

As a B.Sc. Biophysics student, you may be eligible for M.Sc. Physics or M.Sc. Biotechnology programs at IITs, depending on their specific eligibility requirements. Here's a breakdown for both:
M.Sc. Physics at IITs
Eligibility: Most IITs require a Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field such as B.Sc. in Physics, B.Sc. in Mathematics, or B.Sc. in Applied Physics. Since your degree is in Biophysics, you may meet the requirements if your curriculum includes sufficient physics content, such as mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum physics.

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) ask for a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 board exams, in the Science background with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. You need to work hard for your board exams and make sure you get at least 75% marks overall, to be eligible for admission to the IITs in India. The competition is very high there, given their status and NIRF ranking in India, and hence, their minimum marks requirement is also high as compared to other universities that may consider you for admission with 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 as well.
