IMU- CET :Indian Maritime University conducts an entrance exam IMUCET for various courses such as B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Sc. Marine, B.Sc. Marine Catering, etc. You are also required to clear an interview and medical check-up. JEE T. S. Chanakya, Marine Engineering & Research Institute, Kolkata, & National Maritime Academy, Chennai, etc. Accepts JEE score. They are required to fill the forms for IMU as well. Colleges offering B.Sc. 1. Age Limit:
Applicants must not be more than 21 years of age, as on September 1, 2017. Female applicants must be 22 years as on September 1, 2017.
The minimum age limit is 17 years.
2. Qualifying Exam & Pass Percentage:
Applicants must have passed 10+2 securing minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Applicants who have appeared in 10+2 in the year 2017 will be considered eligible to take TMISAT 2017.
3. Subjects to study in qualifying exam:
They need to score the qualifying marks taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together in 10+2.
4. Other Boards:
Candidates who have appeared in International Board need to submit an Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian University along with relevant documents as mentioned below, while submitting the filled-in application form.
5. Entrance Exam:
All applicants must have appeared and qualified in IMUCET for the year 2017.
6. Medical Fitness.
