Cracking an MBA examination could be the most difficult thing for candidates, especially if you are one among the millions of MBA aspirants in India. With more than three Lacs MBA seats up for grab in various colleges, the competition is extremely tough.
1. Bulls Eye: Bulls Eye was started in 1996 in Pune by a group of IIM and XLRI alumni. The institute claims to have trained more than 100,000 students over the last 17 years, producing various CAT and XAT toppers on the way. They have both regular classroom preparation and online preparation products.
3. Career Launcher: One of the largest MBA coaching institutes in India, CL has a wide network of 168 test prep centres in 75 cities. Led by a team of IIT-IIM alumni, CL produces various CAT and other MBA exam toppers every year.
4. Endeavour Careers: Just ten years into existence, Endeavour Careers has produced several success stories. It offers training and coaching for MBA entrance exams. The institute has existence in 10 states. They offer both online and offline coaching.
5. Erudite: Set up in 1998, Erudite offers training to students to crack MBA entrance tests like CAT MAT and XAT. The mentors at the institute are alumni from IIMs, XLRI & other leading business schools of India. The faculty members are from top B-Schools.
6. IMS: Established in 1977 in Mumbai, IMS is one of the oldest higher education entrance exam training institutes of the country. The institute, which has over 75 centres in 44 cities, believes in acting as a mentor, motivator and guide to students. IMS Learning Resources offers coaching and training for MBA entrance tests. Students are mentored for entrance tests like CAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT by GMAC, etc.
7. MBAguru: Focused exclusively on MBA prep material, MBAguru provides classroom coaching to aspirants. Founded by IIT and IIM alumni, the institute teaches through adaptive prep. It claims to have achieved 22.5 IIM calls per 100 students.

The Graduate Record Examination GRE is a standardized test that is required to be taken by students seeking admission to graduate schools. The exam has been developed to evaluate the verbal, analytical and mathematical skills of the candidates. GRE is a computer-based test and has a user-friendly design. Individuals applying to graduate schools in order to pursue a Master of Science (MS) or MBA are required to take the exam. GRE also has subject tests, apart from the basic GRE exam. These subject tests help to make your application stand out from the rest by highlighting your subject knowledge and skill-level of a particular subject. Each subject test is intended for those students who have a Bachelor's degree in the particular disciplines. The subject tests being offered currently are Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Literature, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology. If you are applying for MS courses in the US in particular, remember that colleges don't have minimum cutoff marks required for admission.
