JIPMER is an autonomous institution. So it has the power of setting up its own system, academic curriculum and evaluation process. It doesn't fall under the authority of MCI (NMC). As per previous records, JIPMER had a certain Quota for PG seats to its MBBS students.

Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry is a government institution which became an institute of national importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India in 2008 and is free to manage its internal administration.
The Indian academy college of nursing is a private institute so there the fees is very high and the facilities won't be that good. Always remember one thing goverment institutes are the best for studies. Never go for the private institutes. Private institute doesn't have the quality of education and doesn't have that kind of quality teacher so always
