Admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme at Indian Academy College of Nursing is based on the following entrance exams:

Karnataka 2nd PUC (Pre-University Certificate) exam  

The college conducts its own entrance test as well, which candidates need to clear in addition to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria of 45% aggregate marks in the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects

For the B.Sc Nursing program, 30% of the seats are under the government quota filled through counseling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), while the remaining 70% are management quota seats filled directly by the college.

Similarly, for the M.Sc Nursing program, 20% of the seats are under the government quota and 80% are management quota.

The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of work experience after completing their Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree.

The candidate must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in their B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program.
