The placement scenario at Indian Academy College of Nursing is not very promising. According to the reviews, "There are no placements for nursing students. Only some hospitals visit our college to recruit students."

Admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme at Indian Academy College of Nursing is based on the following entrance exams:
Karnataka 2nd PUC (Pre-University Certificate) exam

For the B.Sc Nursing program, 30% of the seats are under the government quota filled through counseling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), while the remaining 70% are management quota seats filled directly by the college.
Similarly, for the M.Sc Nursing program, 20% of the seats are under the government quota and 80% are management quota.
